Theatre Trip Vlog

So I know this won't get many views but I thought I'd give an on-the-go-vlog a stab! Apologies for lighting, bad camera holding, sound and a messy room.

24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices is fantastic. A bunch of new theatre actors, writers, directors and producers all in their early 20s create some short plays in 24 hours. The audience see the result of lack of sleep - but it's brill! The most amazing platform for new actors, writers, directors and producers. It's a UK division from the American Company.

What kind of notes do you take when you see a play? What specifically do you like or want from the actors at those plays?

@TheSomeoneinterestin Depends entirely on the play. I just enjoy watching actors do what they do and like recognizing when an actor does their job well!

I reeeeally wanted to do that but I'm at Uni! So annoyed that I missed it! :( But they do 48 hour plays here which sound fun just sliiightly less intense so I'm definitely gonna try out for those!

Interestingly I've been in an improvised musical that lasted 24 hours. Twas madness.

@straightfromschool no, JTF is a festival in Atlanta Georgia where you can put together little scenes from certain plays and get judicated on it. Plus it has things like dance party's, special speakers, this year the makers of Annie came :)
