#5 Family Aquatic Complex Construction Update

The first four containers holding the competitive pool for the Family Aquatic Complex have arrived at the construction site, 401 Pitt Street in Windsor.

Crews are unpacking, sorting and taking inventory of the containers in preparation for installation starting in late October. Currently the floor for the pool is being poured. The steel superstructure is being completed over the pool. All pool components will be sequenced to allow for efficient installation starting at the south end of the pool and moving to the north end.

Two other shipments each with approximately four containers will follow at staggered dates to allow for efficient installation. The other shipments will contain the wave pool, lazy river, play area pool, activity/ therapy and two slide pools.
