In this video, I answer a question from Pim who wants to know what a Crunchpad is. The Crunchpad is a tablet device that is currently in development. It is the brainchild of TechCrunch's Michael Arrington. Details are still sketchy since the device has not been finalized yet. Search Google for "Crunchpad" and you'll get a ton of results. Here is the link I referred to in the video: http://bit.ly/OUmRf Thanks for the question!

  • why do people email questions like that? have they not heard of google? :O

  • Basically the Crunchpad is a tablet made purely for web browsing with web apps on the side. It is not meant for the roles which apple tablet will probably fulfill which will be much more app oriented. It's for all those users who just want a lightweight web browsing experience wherever they are.

  • Hey, I liked your video. But I would like to point out that this product is the brainchild of Chandra Rathakrishnan of Fusion Garage. Michael Arrington just initiated the project. But the people of fusion garage are the ones who designed and built it from scratch.
