Eelgrass is the foundation of the Great Bay estuary. It acts as a water filter, and it provides a vital habitat for wildlife. But eelgrass is thinning in the estuary. Researchers at UNH are studying eelgrass; here, research assistant Nicole Sarratte demonstrates some of her measurements to NHPR's Amy Quinton.
