Pippa's exhibit of drawings, sketches and two of her actual cars are on display now through the end of December at Lois Lambert Gallery, Bergamot Station, Santa Monica, CA 310-829-6990. The show is extraordinary and a rare view into the creative talent of a rare and original thinker.

Quietly Philip (now Pippa and a woman) profoundly influenced the art and cultural landscape in Los Angeles in the seventies and eighties. He and his then wife Nancy Reese, a brilliant gifted painter and writer were at the epicenter of everything interesting happening in Los Angeles at the time. I met Phil ne Pippa when we were both students at Art Center College and we've been friends since 1967. Kyle's comments below are spot on. Pippa is one of the most courageous, honest and brilliant people

If it weren't for people like Pippa Garner, the world would be a place where even the more creative of us are just basically recycling the same old boring ideas over and over again. Sometimes the world just needs to be turned on its head. It takes a lot of courage and vision to live with that kind of artistic integrity and eccentricity regardless of what those whose minds are closed might think.
