I like your way of thinking. I mean, I don't necessarily agree with everything you're saying (as I tend to prescribe to a more liberal-libertarian POV contrasting your conservative-libertarian one) but I have a respect for people who form their own opinions. Well done.

well most of the polls they like to use aren't even theirs..

I think it's hilarious how every single poll that Fox news conducts, just happens to fall in their favor. Can they just once in a while, let a poll fall in favor of President Obama. So it's at least more realistic and believable.

So how do you determine the right size of Government. Was the Arpanet Project (Early Internet) a wasteful government program. ?
Can you imagine this country without the Intestate Roads ?
What would happen if Public Education, National Parks and PBS/NPR were eliminated.
These are the things I really love in this world.
Everybody wants efficient lean governments, but you absolutely need to lead with some programs. There are certain things the Private industry can't or shouldn't do.

I agree with this.. I belong to the Republican Liberty Caucaus

I listen to Rush everyday and I am a libertarian.. he seldom talks about social conservatism except once in a great while abortion or to highlight hypocrisy on the left.

Actually, Foxnews reports a ton of interesting stories, and reports them accurately, and apologizes when they get something wrong.

rush limbaugh is about is good as fox news... just another guy trying to scare people into thinking his way
Now is the perfect time for the GOP to right their wrongs. Bring back fiscal conservatism, less government, and focus on more on border security.
Ron Paul 2012... other alternatives include Bobby Jindal and Bob Barr.

Exactly. My hope is that like Goldwater begat Reagan, Paul will begat a true fiscally conservative Goldwater republican. Question is who? Romney, no. Jindal? Possibly. Palin. Never. Limbaugh? Doubtful. Where is the capitalist counterpoint to the messiah? We need a kick-ass, unapologetic capitalist to sweep in and take over. But who?
