One objection that may come up: How do we know that the title ascribed to this writing is authentic? Was it really Mark who wrote that particular synoptic, some liberal historians would say that it is impossible to know. Thoughts? Love your Islam series by the way, it helps a great deal.

@loftin12393 Actually, the internal evidence provided above does not rely on the Gospel's ascription to Mark in the least. Even if the Gospel were actually written by Joe Schmoe, the case provided above still works. So the objection fails. Good idea, though :-)
