@theworldvideos1 Well most somalis consider Somaliland a separate state to Somalia, although not officially recognized, it has it's own governance and system to that of the transitionary government. HSM have recently withdrawn from Mogadishu, but only due to a change in military strategem. As for the middle of Somalia, the area is contested and influence varies, to be honest I can't tell you exactly how much they control, as things on the ground move so fast, but its been reported atleast before

@IslamistAnalysist Wrong, Al Shabab only has 25% of the country, the rest is owned by a defacto state called Somaliland and warlords from Puntland and other regions. Plus of course the Kenyans in the southern border regions and the African Union troops in Mogidishu !!!
