This is an update from my first version I posted last night. Again I am playing all parts.Vocals, Drums, Guitars (No Bass) I had some time after work today so I sat down and learned the drum line properly, and worked the solo out a little more... I just took some time trying to get it right..... I plan on doing some more work on mixing it down (I HAVE to get a decent set of monitors... I still haven't listened to this through good speakers yet.) And I will probably redo the vocals once my voice gets stronger... I just can't get over this infection.... Of course my voice wasn't very good before hand... Does anybody wanna do vocals for me?!?!? ;)
I used the cheapest equipment I had for this recording.
A old Washburn Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar
My Alesis Mixer, and DM6 drum set
Digitech RP500
A Cheap Nady Mic
A Homemade slide
Cubase for recording software, and Audacity to convert it to an Mp3
I don't like the digital drum set and guitar effects anymore than you may... But where volume is a concern they work wonders... My neighbors would have the police knocking at my door in no time if I tried to do this stuff without headphones.
holy shit this is amazing love it dude. just wondering how you got ur guitar into ur computer :) thanks very much

Hey thanks man... I have my guitar going into my Digitech Rp 500 or GNX 3000 depending on the type of song I am trying to my record. And that goes in my Alesis USB mixer which just plugs into the computer via USB. I don't prefer the sound of this setup compared to miking an amp, but I live in small mining town and the houses are REALLY close together. So this way I can plug in headphones and be real quiet, and still not get a bad sound out of the setup.
