I saw this happen today in real life. The lady had milk, bread, ham, and cigarettes. She was paying with a normal card not a food stamp. Insufficient funds.. she put the milk, bread, and ham back and just got the cigarettes..

We already help. Our tax dollars is what they are using to pay for their food.I don't receive any assistance. My family of 4 eats off of $300 a month. We eat ramen and rice almost everyday. I know people on welfare who get $900 a month on up in food stamps for the same amount of family members. And trust me they are not skinny and they get to eat good food every day.

they weren't paying for her groceries out of sympathy, they were paying because she was holding up the fucking line. i probably would have done the same thing lol

@Zaruk5678 I don't know many people who "expect" others to pick up the slack. However, it is the responsibility of every human being to love, help, and care for each other, no matter what form that may take. Perhaps it is giving to charity, perhaps it is volunteering our time at a shelter, or perhaps making sure we pay all our taxes, or maybe it's helping some poor person at the checkout. We're all brothers and sisters, all part of the same human family.  Love one another.

The moment we feel that we are better than someone else is the moment we've lost our soul. Most conservatives claim to believe in God, and I don't know if you do or not, but throughout the Scriptures God says that we must care for the poor and needy without excuse and without limitations. I think the reason people refuse to help b/c you dk if those ppl actually need it. I actually went to the grocery store a few days ago and the women didnt have enough $ for food yet she had a $650 purse on..
