An experiment in digital compositing using Adobe After Effects to mimic a combination of long exposure photography and motion video. Made for a 1 minute video assignment for a video production course at the University of British Columbia. (The whole video was shot on campus.)

Original music composed by Mark Crawford.

  • I'll be a 1st year at UBC next year, any advice on getting into the film production program?

  • Whaaa! that was so cool, could you please send me a personal comment on how you did that?

  • Can you please point me to how I can duplicate that effect with AE? I would like to do the same for a sports production (following the motion of a ball). Thanks!

  • Nicely done. Sweet music too
