Umthombo is a street child organisation based in Durban that helps children on the streets to be re-intergrated back into society where possible. Through therapeutic programs the organisation hopes to engage the children and offer social workers to deal with the issues that have brought them to the streets or happened to them while on the streets. Umthombo offers many different programs such as surfing, soccer, art and dance with the hope of bringing about change. Umthombo gives these children an identity and hope that one day they can be someone through love and attention that every child in the world deserves.
