We've all seen great artists destroyed by addiction.
The amazing thing about looking back at videos like this is that despite the scourge of addiction JT's genius was strong enough to overcome. It was so strong it still rang out as clear as bell. It's strength probably saved his life and is responsible for us still being able to enjoy one of the great voices of our time to this day.
