  • Mr goldhat,

Been playing for a couple months. Love this tune, love your version, but confused.

After the walkdown - during the Em chord/picking, if you are picking 6-3-1-2, then what does Em have to do with anything if you're not strumming them? They are on the 4th and 5th strings?

    Thanks

  • Good question. Actually, the EM 5 and 4 is not played during the pattern, but it is good to finger it anyway in case you make a little strum or miss with your fingerpicking.

  • Thanks so much for this beautiful rendition of one of my favorite Beatle songs. After viewing several times, it appears the Em picking pattern in the closing changes to 6-3-2-3-1-2-3-2 Is this correct? Thanks!

  • yes, good eye mate.

  • i love your videos, im a subscriber for life mate.

  • Can't ask for more than that.

  • I like the song too, and I especially like the sound you have your guitar dialed in to.

  • @kingshearer2 ah thanks. haha an answer from someone 7 months later! but that's cool. i still want to learn to play this song. thanks again.

  • @explodingmoons

I think when he walks down after the G you move to the 2nd fret of the sixth string and pluck this string followed by the melody pattern ( i.e string 3 then 1 then 2 ). Then you form an Em chord playing the sixth string open followed by the 3 1 2 pattern.

In the verses starting Em the pluck pattern starts the same but has 4 extra notes i.e. Bass note (6 or 5) 312 (as before) followed by 3212. This might not be perfect but sounds pretty close. cheers

  • thank you good lesson.

    i think i got it.

i play with capo at 2nd fret and it matched perfect.

  • i think it would be better to zoom in on the fingers then the full body shot.

  • `help me for the intro.....i can't get it

  • dont take this to offence but i when i clicked this i thought the singing would have been bad but you have a very nice voice how long have you been singing???

  • superb big man keep up the good work :D

  • i cant get it after the intro.

i dont understand which notes you're playing when we walk down. cause obviously you dont play all of them.

anyway this si really good anyway.

  • can you explain the arpeggio pattern?
