  • Thanks for posting this. I assume these clocks were fairly accurate, given the slave clock. How many seconds did they lose/gain per month?

  • i never measured that; i did get it adjusted to less than a minute a day. it depended on how much time i wanted to spend adjusting the pendulum. its in storage now.

  • I was always fascinated by the Standard clocks. It is nice to see there are people still working with these even when the company doesn't exist anymore. It's part of Faraday.

  • In the late 70's, my elementary school used the 1942 version of this clock. Once I was even allowed to ring the bells. The clock is now in the town museum.

  • putting this video on for 7:51 scecends well i thought it was great when you look for sme thing on you tube even thow its a clock its syill a good video thats why i rated it 4 stars
