Feb.18.2008 - Polk County, North Carolina - In spite of an obviously exaggerated warrant, abuse of innocent neighbors and questionable police methods, Steve Marlowe has been reindicted on three charges (2 felonies and 1 misdemeanor)resulting from the bust of his small medical marijuana "grow".
Determined to find out who lied and why, Steve sees the corruption engendered by prohibition as sadly typical in communities everywhere, calling on all of us to "Come together, stand up and end this! - Call your representatives in government and keep letting them know 'til they listen. Write letters to the newspaper; get a discussion going in your community; join a group working for change; talk to your church leaders (many now see the tragedy of the drug war)- We owe it to our communities and future generations to bring back integrity in the enforcement of our laws.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law', because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual."
Thomas Jefferson

Your so right Steve, it is time that people start standing up for the truth about cannabis. It is not a drug, it is a God given natural herb that heals, AND it was promised to us in the Bible. All marijuana charges are unconstitutional and the government is engaging in acts of terror everytime they charge someone. God Bless you Steve and we will be praying for you here at Green Earth Ministries. Keep an eye on our case here in Alabama where we are challenging the courts on religious grounds.
