I'm definitely not condoning his behavior toward his mother no matter what she did or has done in her past. She is still his mother and regardless to her faults, missteps & errors she deserves his respect.

When is there ever a reason to put your hands (including pushing) your mother? And just because you do a lot og great things for someone, does not excuse you for assaulting them. I'm not a Mario hater, I am actually impressed with him after seeing the HBO documentary. I think and hope the two of them can resolve this and move on. He made a poor decision. I am sure his drug-addicted mother pissed him off. He just reacted out of anger. I'm sure he will react differently in the future.
