For the first time in years, Coach Joe Paterno appeared with his wife, Sue, and spoke to the dancers at THON 2009 in the Bryce Jordan Center at the University Park campus.

@QuietusEpicus I was there dumbass...my son was a first year thon captain...check out the testimonial by a father and what thon did for his family and infant son with cancer...thon is NOT run by Penn State...it is run totally by students...it started with the Greek fraternity but then grew to other clubs. They work their ass off all year...it has nothing to do with Joe Paterno or football...learn a little bit asshole before you compare Paterno to Hitler..

I love this video. That was a truly magical moment in my time at PSU. THON is one of the greatest experiences of my life. And I remember being so happy to be at THON an not expecting anyone to show up, and in walks Joe Pa. Saying he was proud of us.
