Aaron Weiss is a modern-day prophet. He does remarkable things with words and somehow knows how to get under my skin. When I listen all doubts are erased from my mind. His music and energy is inspired by something powerful, something more than religion and sermons, baptisms and pilgrimages. And whatever that power may be, I know its real because I can feel it every time I listen to mewithoutYou. This stuff is personal, it effects us all in different ways, so it's pointless to argue about it.

@MyBelovedIsJesus Allah is just an Arabic WORD for God. So if you said the word 'God' in French, you're not referring to God? Just a small opinion, I believe that Christians and Muslims are worshiping the same being. I always wondered why Christians worshipped Jesus and not God, Himself. Until I came to realise about the Holy Trinity, and it kinda made sense. Other than that, they are more the less the same.

i'm arabic and at the end he is not speaking arabic , it might be indian , pakistani or something like that

They have said themselves that they are not a "Christian" band Frontyard. And No Fishfry, his lyrics are most absolutely not explicitly christan...at all. Many of his lyrics come from Sufi teachings, influences from metaphysical poet John Donne and even Kurt Vonnegut. Keep your religion off of other people's well intended lyrics. You dont "win" anything for having a band on your "god"s side TEAPARTY. you, indeed, are the confused one. Do some research.

Even though I'm leaning towards thinking this song was written about allah, I dont mind listening to it because it is a beautiful love song no matter who its directed to.

@FrontyardFlatground I don't think that at all, he says stuff like, "God is my only hope". From what I've seen, he never teaches universalism, which is and of itself is a logical fallacy.

....they are the same God.

so fucking good!~

@fishfry1991 His interviews. He doesnt directly say it, but its what I gather. I can't make and specific examples, sorry!

What would lead you to think that? All of his lyrics are explicitly Christian...

mewithoutYou is not Muslim, they are Christian... He is speaking in Arabic at the end and 'Allah' happens to be the word for 'God' in the Arabic language...
for all those confused about the bands roots...
