yeah i bought a 500$ from ebay years ago thinking i could make things and ultimately make things that could be sold for $#$ - i have made ZERO $ since the purchase - maybe my ideas suck or my marketing is crap or my product was non-desireable..

Don't give up. Try making some personalized items like signs.
We are keeping our unit busy with signs, coasters, cup-holders, etc. in addition to the gear and turbine part making.

but do you sell your signs, coasters, cup-holders and turbine parts... -- on ebay, craigslist or your own website or through existing customers ?
Thanks!

little pricey $2,500 + Wow thats high

I used to run a 2500 watt cnc laser programming in G code. I really would like to get my hands on one -- cute little thing __.

It is not that high for a 12 x 24 x 4 inch work area. Also, it is very solidly built (I can't kill it even though I have made a lot of mistakes).

this company has the cheapest servo drive and motors... you can cut aluminum virtually on any router.... but there's the question, is it worth? even just a cheap drill-mill from grizzly or harborfreight will cut faster and better... a router can not cut same way metals, because the different the ways of the axises....due to the rollers, balls the router has a ""permanent resonance"" which one has a bad affect on the quality of cutted surface...

All machines have this resonance. One must effectively isolate it and never push the machine past it's rated capacities. I can't even make a router last a few wood projects much less cut aluminium with it. You might want to just stick to wood and plastic.
