Ionized Alkaline Water Filter: Water Part II

Water has to be pure and safe to drink, and just because it came out of the tap or out of a plastic bottle doesn't mean it's safe for your and your family. In facts, odds are, it's VERY harmful.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently documented approximately 83,000 violations of water quality standards by municipal water systems, featuring over 21,000 contaminants-organic and inorganic-over the past thirty years, almost 200 of them already proven to be linked with adverse health effects.

Water MUST be alkaline. Pure distilled water ranks an even 7 on pH scale. Anything above 7 is alkaline, and so better than acidic water, but to get the full benefits of alkaline water-neutralizing the acids that make you fat-I recommend water that's at least 9.5 on the pH scale (and as high as 11.5 to 12.5). Plain and simple alkaline water washes away acids and wastes, helping your whole body stay alkaline. By providing alkaline water to neutralize and remove acid from the tissues, you'll stop the body from gleaning alkaline substances from other body parts to do the job.

How can I test my pH?

There are pH testing drops you can get to drop it in a glass of water or any bottled water. The higher the pH the closer to the color purple the liquid should turn. The more acidic the liquid is the closer to red it will look.

I was so frustrated at all the bull and hype that is out there about alkaline water that I put together my own site so people can make an intelligent decision for themselves. If your machine only produces 10pH they will not recommend that you drink a higher level! Will they.

Thank you for your reply, but ph 11 is very high, is not it? The instruction book of my machine says 'Do not use water with a ph level above 10 for drinking' and 'the appropriate drinking ph level should be between ph 9.5 and ph 10.' I hope you will be alright.

@coshigould I am drinking a pH level of 11.0 and I drink about a Gal. a day. I fine though that if I drink less the aches and pains in my joints come back.

I am drink a pH level 11.0 and I usually drink about 1 gal. a day. But I do find when I don't drink very much. the aches and pains seem to come back, so I drink more. Life is too short to hurt all the time.
