Subaru Boxer engines are developed using similar blueprinted Porsche engine long time ago. One of blueprinted was 3.0 4cyl boxer.

That's not actually true. All depends how engine is tuned. Today V6 engine have bigger displacement, and dont need that high revs. Still, this is one of the best racing V6 engines.

ohh god!!! i love that Retro 90's V6 sounds, nowadays V6s arent the same that ppl could see in the 90s, the older v6 could rev up to 10000+ RPM, nowadays v6 rev only at 8500+ RPMs

@argh1989 don't doubt, believe. The Alfa V6 is one of the best engines in the world with the best V6 sound in the world, yes it has it's flaws. But don't forget, Alfa invented DOHC's. They invent engines. But they are Italians in the end and forget to capitalize on it ;-) ;-) the Subaru boxer for instance is a evolution of the Afasud boxer engine design wich the Coreans bought from Fiat when it took over Alfa.
