Dieses Lied war ein Beitrag für den Wettbewerb LIEDER SO SCHÖN WIE DER NORDEN aus dem Jahre 1991 . Interpretin : Marieke . Die Sängerin hatte danach noch einen Nachfolgetitel : Möven im Wind .
I really love this song in the Plattdeutsch language that's more or less related +understandable to us Dutch (especially in the eastern provinces of the Netherlands where they speak dialect varieties of the same Lower Saxon language.
My 24 y.o. son just came in, heard this and intstantly remembered sitting on my lap, in front of the tv+video, watching and listenening to this song from 'Lieder so schön wie der Norden' when he was about 3 yrs old! And he's half Srilankan and 'still likes it'!
North sea corny background. Dead seagulls. Nautical theme, rope around a fake piling. A hair cut from 1985, and a dress from 1885. Thanks for the good laugh!! (This video isn't serious, is it?)

If you haven't found it by now she has an album called Zwischen den Meeren.
