"A foggy day in London town" was recorded by Bowie and Angelo Baladamenti for a compilation album titled "Red Hot and Rhapsody: The Gershwin Groove", with songs composed by George Gershwin, released as a charity for Aids awareness. It was released in 1998. The photo of David wearing a check shirt and holding the microphone (appears on 0:10 on the video) was taken at the studio while recording
