Its not a big percentage of students that want a job in racing. Like I couldnt care less for nascar really. But all the ppl I know that do want to get into racing, they do. The one thing the instructors tell us about getting into a racing team is to know someone, have connections and WHEN A OPPORTUNITY DOES COME TAKE IT. In nascar, its once in a life time chance. so take it.
yeah i have, i just liked NTI for the Nascar stuff, i wanted to work for a race team. It seems like not all the kids go there for that like i thought. do you ever hear of kids gettin jobs on race teams at that school?
you have to take the core classes which is the basics then you have to take the nascar engins 1 and 2 classes. in engins one class you learn the rules of nascar and you dissasemble and reassemble a craftsman truck engine. in engins 2 you learn how to set up a nascar engine on the engine dyno and set up a car on the chassis dyno. and how to use a flow bench. the extra nascar classes is fab., pit, and one other but i cant remember the name of it.
Oh well gratz, im looking to get into racing. Is it focused on racing, or just the basics. I go to a trade high school, im good with everything on a normal car. I just dont wanna go here if its not all about nascar. thanks
The school cost $30000 total. I dont know how much a communite collage would cost. The ppl that give the tours lie alot about the school. "" UTI is better than WYOtech"" You do get to work on nascar engines, regular car engines, and everything else that works with the engine in the car. You get ceritfied when you pass a Nissan or ford class " i took nissan". It looks better on your resume when your looking for a job. I graduated last thursday. 12/31/09=]

Look around at community collages also, something could be better for the price. the only thing you really get out of NTI/UTI is certifications
