Maria Yudina talks about "Pictures from an Exhibition"

In the 1960s, Soviet pianist Maria Yudina recorded a monologue in Russian describing her poetic and dramatic impressions of Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures from an Exhibition" over her own, earlier, recording of the same work.

This Is a great post. But Yudina's comment is meaningless and shallow. It reminds me of the way our primary school music teacher made us speak of what we were thinking (or "feeling") while listen to classical pieces.. the top level suck-ups always managed to make up stuff about swans and quite forrest lakes and the snow flakes and butterflies.. for folks who don't understand russian, be informed - this is that sort of commentary. It'd be nicer if she would have actually talked about music.
