QR TopGear qualifying - Nov 4, 2007.

In-car footage of 3 laps as the tyres and brakes came up to temp. On the 1st lap towards turn 1, you'll see the bonnet scoop fly off (it was then smashed to bits by another RX7). The very next lap at the same spot, my engine cracked an end plate and sprayed oil all over my tyres and the track. I was luckily able to catch it and steer it straight off towards flag point 2. Sadly, the camera cuts out just as I exit the tarmac. I jumped over the wall in time to see a few cars spin on the oil, but they didn't come to any harm.
