Aussie Election Year Challenge

I've done some research since being annihilated in court by the National Australia Bank and it seems to me (ok, are you still paranoid if they really are watching you?) that we are stuck in this really convoluted and corrupt banking system that needs fixing. This is an election year in Australia and I'm wondering if any of the pollies are up to the real challenge of running our country and ridding us of the scourge of banks who continue to indulge in unconscionable banking practices? The real question is 'who is really running the country, the Government or the banks?'
