*Update: I got a mic. I might remake this video with voice, if anyone would have any use for it and I can find some time.* Lemme know if you would appreciate this and I'll see if I get time :P
Yep yep yep... Well, Apple's $.99 ringtone fee isn't too bad, but what really gets me is when one of your own audio files (that isn't on the Apple Store) would make a sweet ringtone, yet you aren't allowed to convert it!
...Like this song, Final Encounter, which was created by the amazing David Orr for the online game Sonny. (check out Orr's other music on Newgrounds or play Sonny, links are below)
Orr's theme for bosses was just way too awesome to not make a ringtone out of. So I did, and stuck a hypercam process on the whole thing. Et viola, a youtube video.
Feel free to subscribe; I really don't make that many videos, but occasionally, they may be useful :P

---Warning. Legal stuff, boring---
1. The music that is used in this video is completely the property of David Orr; It is used under Newgrounds' Noncommercial Licensing Terms, and the song can be found here: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/205308
2. I do not personally use this method to create illegal ringtones, nor do I encourage its use for such. The iTunes store allows you to purchase ringtones of commercial music at an additional $0.99, which I support entirely. I do, however, see the use for this in converting noncommercial songs into ringtones (which the iTunes store cannot convert) as Apple does not lose money from such use.
3. Using this method may void your warranty. I dunno if it actually does but if you're really into that stuff you might want to check.

You don't have Windows set to display extensions.
Within any folder, go to Tools > Folder Options. Under the "View" tab, you'll see "Hide extensions for known file types." (8th checkbox down.) Uncheck it and you're set.
