Maurice Elwin was awful singing for the uptempo Rhythmic 8,but singing slower tunes like this one he was actually a pleasant singer

Yes, "let's be sentimental", I really like the vast magority of Percival Mackey's output.
This is a lovely tune and what a stylish arrangement, proving his band could compare with the best of them.
Dependable Maurice Elwin sings with real conviction.
