Pumping is when you are pushing to gain speed, Carving is when you are trying to slow down or keep from going too fast down hill.

Yes, bigger is better. also a lower durometer wheel is better for better grip and smoothness.
You'll need some risers for those 200 mms, so the wont pinch.

Damn, I want those trucks! They look pretty fun for carving and pumping! Hey, what's your setup? Deck, wheels, trucks, risers? I have a shortboard and I'm thinking of slappin' a pair of seismics on it!

Yeah they are sweet! They are the 180 mm 45 degree seismics. I made my own raisers out of arcrylic.
The wheels are sector 9 78a 76 mm. the bearings are abec9.
The board is a cheap walmart board I just threw away the cheap trucks wheel and bearings.
