ONE person isn't a statistically sound sample size. You haven't had problems with your paint BUT there have been numerous lawsuits against Mitsubishi. Google "Mitsubishi Paint Problems" and you'll get 7,400,000 results. While you are at it, Google statistics too.

@sleeksilver wow your that fucking retarded then they didnt take care of it i have 160,000 miles no paint issues no electric issues and certainly no trans or engine problems funny thing though my neighbor has a 2000 tiburon with the paint almost gone and a major transmission problem replaced it twice :)

FYI, I've never owned a Tiburon, or any Hyundai for that matter. Let's not even talk about Genesis Coupe vs. the 4G Eclipse, they can't even be compared.

One of my family members owned a 3G Eclipse that was a complete and utter disaster though, so I have no idea of what you are talking about by the Eclipse being a better car. Peeling clear coat, electrical issues, and transmission issues (ultimately replaced) plagued that vehicle over 4 years of ownership.

You are so uninformed it is shocking. They aren't even producing the Eclipse anymore, it exited production in August of 2011. If they are still selling, it is because they are models that are still sitting on the lot, which is embarrassing. Even in the last year of production for the Tiburon, it was selling better than the Eclipse.

Just an FYI, a six speed Tiburon would be faster than this automatic GT. Manual vs. manual, and they ran similar times. The GTS was the faster one, but honestly not that much faster than a Tiburon GT with the six speed manual. The G3 Eclipse was heavy for its size.
