HP "Pictures" Commercial - Cure

Finally HP managed to get a decent song to be featured in on of their ads: the "Pictures - You!" campaign in 2004.
It's the catchy song "Pictures of You" from "The Cure" that was featured on their 1989 album "Disintegration" and that received a late comeback with this ad.

They didn't need the money...as their contract with Fiction was ending, Robert Smith was asked for permission to use this song and 'Just Like Heaven' for a French TV ad (?) He agreed and then used the royalties to buy The Cure's back catalog back from Fiction. Brilliant business sense...
