'Ezra Pound explored Japanese and Chinese poetry, used it to promote aesthetic modernism, and effected the world of poetry, of letters...of man.Not a dummy, he was generous to all, and, dare I pound the drum, had a curious mind.

He was a contemporary of and promoted such luminaries as W. B. Yeats, Robert Frost, William Carlos Williams, Marianne Moore, H. D., James Joyce, Ernest Hemingway, and especially T. S. Eliot.

In short, he was a man of influence, and he used that influence to better mankind.

Eventually, he became involved in exploring fascist ideas, and was incarcerated as a result of his promotion of such ideas.

Now, how can a fascist be held up as a free thinker and a benefactor of mankind?

One day I was teaching Pa Kua Chang to a fellow, and he asked me if I had ever heard of Eustace Mullins.

"Nope."

He gave me a book, 'Our Secret Rulers,' I believe the name was, and the story behind the book.

Eustace Mullins was a follower of Ezra Pound. Visited him in various institutions (criminal and psychiatric), and Ezra convinced Eustace of certain things, and gave him a task. The task was simple, and it didn't involve belief, rather, the substantiation of belief.

Prove that my theories are right.

And, unsaid but inherent within that command, 'Or if they are wrong.'

So Eustace Mullins got a job with the Library of Congress, and he spent decades going through records, compiling records, arranging records in pertinent order.

It is not a read, or a story, it is a dry recital of facts. Board meetings of various companies. That's all.

And it is the most fascinating read of all time.

He said what? He worked for whom? But that decision would result in....corporations were bought and turned, drugs merged with education with...

The mind sweats to envision the corruption, all in black and white, and the soul cringes. To tell the truth, when I finished that dusty, little tome I was so scared...I had never been more scared in my life.

I had been told nothing but facts, no conclusions, and my mind had to grasp it all. Concentration camps. Profit through the manipulation of war and disease. Governments dancing to the tune of the moneymasters.

Earth as an actual hell. And why.

Every institution I had ever known flip flopped. EVery datum presented to me by the educational process wormholed.

Benefactors became devils. Traitors became heroes. And it was a true history of planet earth, if I could believe the facts.

I read the newspapers these days, and I compare my so called education with facts with what is happening.

There is a reason for everything, and everything has a reason.

Well, I could go on, but I won't. You see, the people who talk conspiracy theory are held to be lunatics. Admit it, you are likely tilting your head a bit even as I entertain. The eyes are glazing, and...and I decided I didn't want to be a looney, I didn't want people rolling their eyes when I spoke, and the fortunate news for me, I had an outlet. I can write.

Do you think there is a conspiracy? A real one? Do you like to read? If I can write a novel that lays out the facts, takes into account everything, will you believe in the possibility of conspiracy?

I don't try to scare you with facts, I merely offer a 'what if,' if you are willing to ask it.

Let me leave you with the words of Ezra.
