I remember when I got my Sega Genesis, and this was one of the two games that came with it - the other being Sonic 2. I also remember when I was a friend's place when I was about 13 or 14, and he had some rap cd on - Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, I later found out - and I was like, "Holy shit, these rappers totally ripped off Sega!" I've always wondered if they ever gave credit where credit was due.
Totally agree. Completely forgot about the strength of the soundtrack til I listened to all of this. I remember reading through the biographies and actually sympathising with videogame characters on the strength of the music that accompanied it.
this game was bangin had it when it came out sum wicked finishers the beats are hot too (evry1 knows they used to reset thier mega drive to see the different carachters destroy the sega sign)
definitley, great concept too i remember my older brother got this game when it came out, and i still have that same game along with all of our old console games, including 327 NES games ;)
