In order to get the Sunflame/Sunfire, you need to beat a REALLY annoying boss.

Ya know, the Red Soul? It absorbs EVERY spell, including non-attack ones like Blind. You HAVE to defeat it, with melee. Not good for minimal le... STAT grinding games.

I'm at this exact point in the game. I have Maria equipped with the methril javelin. I've been grinding for MP and she seems not to be gatting any, is it because of the Methril javelin? Do I need to equip her with the cane?

For Maria I chose her to be a fist user/blackmage because the fist do an extreme amount of damage nd her magic is amazing.
