You can use butter instead of olive oil. Also, you can add some sake or red wine and reduce the sauce. No need to spend $50 at a steakhouse!! $4 a pound chuck meat can be sooooo good! Japanese cooking food recipe. 簡単和食レシピ。

  • If i were you i'd cook it french way, it'd be better if you let the meat marinate in the soy sauce with fresh garlic for about three hours, then cook the steak in a pan with sesame oil for five minute and then slice it into square shaped pieces. If there's one thing i learned in france, never cook meat on a high temperature.

  • @tybireus Please don't do it. This sauce is very salty and should be kept thin and runny.  Flour will change the flavor too.
