Long before the Bay Area was home to Silicon Valley, it was a technology capital for truck manufacturing.
Terrific shots of vehicles that were built here in this area, from the nearly 100 year old S.F. produced Doane, to the S.F. / Oakland produced Fageol and its later incarnation: the mighty Peterbilt. Internationals and Macks were also built in nearby Emeryville and Hayward.
The Autocars, Diamond Ts, Kenworths & Sterlings - and the logos, ornaments & interiors - also great. Thanks!
