I had this idea and I hope that you'll find it interesting. This is a slideshow with some music from a Swedish musical called "Kristina from Duvemåla". It's about a group of people that migrates to Minnesota in the year 1850. Just listen to it or read the tranlation and I can promise you that you'll find it fitting. I've been posting a couple of vids so I can at least reveal how I've gotten my hands on the season 2 episodes. I download them from thepiratebay.org. It's not a legal way of doing it but hey, I guess I can say that I got inspired by watching the show...

thank you for your posting, i saw this vid in september 2009, since then i saw all the other vids on you tube, allready bought the 3CD album in Swedish.... and guess what?

Interesting choice . . . I read recently that Pete Duel's mother was Swedish, so he is half Swedish. Did that play any part in choosing this particular song? Or is it just a coincidence?

Well, I knew that he was of Swedish descent, but not the extent of it. And the song just seemed to fit with Alias Smith and Jones in an eerie kind of way. So to answer your question: yes, with Pete being part Swedish it did play a big part in me choosing this song. As did the story behind the musical in it self, plus the name of the guy that sings it.
What can I say. All the musicals made by the guys in ABBA are outstanding!
