This is an object lesson for Democratic leadership. You said you needed a majority; we delivered in 2006. You said you needed a super-majority; we delivered in 2008. You said you needed the White House; we delivered in 2008. We said we needed universal health-care; you are not delivering. This is what will happen if you continue to screw around with the people who put you in power.

  • This is not about Democrats. The current Democratic party is lead by far left progressives. The resemble nothing of the Democratic party that it was founded on or that JFK represented.

Look at the polls..Only around 20-25% of people in the U.S. consider themselves liberal. and majority don't want Universal Govt. run health care.

They can screw around with you progressive all they want. But if they screw around with the majority of Americans they are in for a big mistake. This will not fly.

  • Yes, the current Democratic Party is a far cry from original, founded in 1792 by Jefferson. That version supported slavery.

Of course, the ironically named "Grand Old Party" (founded 10 years after the present Democratic Party was officially formed) is a far cry from the original Republican Party. The current "Corrupt Bastards Club" as they like to call themselves are having a grand old time screwing you and you don't even know it. Paris Hilton thanks you.

  • great now he cant enter it into the science fair...

  • That was so funny glad he didn't get hurt so I can laugh with out guilt

  • 2nd part.

But you are putting words into my mouth suggesting I like the current GOP. I'm a conservative..and Bush and many in the party kinda forgot about being 'conservative.''

but aside from all of that..The government Health care that you seemingly want, Is still Unconstitutional.

Liberals didn't put Obama into power. Independents as well as people pissed at Bush put him into power. And those same people along with everyone else except for far left types, do not want Govt. Health care.

  • Actually you should read up on why the Thomas Jefferson types of the Democratic-Republican party did not advocate slavery and wanted to only have slaves counted as 3/5 of a vote...if slaves were able to be counted as a full vote it would ensure that the pro slavery movement would have enough votes in legislation.

Sure some of the current GOP is not anything like it was when it was formed pre-Civil War under the banner of Lincoln and true conservatism....

    read 2nd part.
