I've never seen this before! It's really brilliant. Thought these days, I doubt many actually know what it's parodying. Willliams SO much better before he became Mrs. Doubtfire/Patch Adams/Seize the Day, etc.

This and the Midnight Cowboy parody reach a perfection that only SCTV could achieve. Note that during this period SNL had slipped to uninspired, unimaginative, embarrassing, comic irrelevance.

I loved the old sctv shows and this episode but I have to wonder if Leo Gorcey would have punched them out for being parodied as gay
