Why, he's the head of atlantic....ehh....records. Hmm...that doesn't really explain why he's on stage with them though? :-)

If you read AC/DC's biography "Maximum Rock 'N Roll", you'll find that Carson was a major reason AC/DC got its first tours in England and the States. He was essential to AC/DC's success.
