Just wanted to let you guys know about my experience at orientation. It's a funny/sad story so I know it's one I won't be forgetting anytime soon.

UPDATE: I emailed the college and got some very nice and professional replies and will be making an appointment to talk with someone soon!

  • God Bless you!

  • College is hard work -- I somehow worked through it with the help of professors, etc. I never registered for the disabled students program (though it was suggested)- but at the end it was rather ridiculous-- professors actually took me home after I passed out a few times. It made me realize that professors are people too :)

  • hi, im francisca

im from Chile, and i have POTS too

it was diagnosed some months ago, and i just began my treatment... but i don't feel such a change.

on march im starting university, i will study psycology, and i know it will be taugh, but i think i can deal with it. and after watching to some of your videos i think you can too, that you have enough strength to go thru with it.

its just that some people are idiots and don't even try to understand the rest.

  • I really don't like the way some people treat others, they have no respect and especially when your sick. Its really hard to do things. I hope you get it all sorted out and get classes that you want and everything works out.

    Good luck.

    Love Stacey

    xo.

  • i know the feeling. i'm in the exact same situation right now. i have to apply for college and my local college is not being accomodating at all! all the courses they offer online are like maths and accounting and my dream has been to do vet tech. i wanted to do like 75% online and 25% in class but they said i have to choose one or the other. so frustrating! but i hope things work out for you and you get to do the program you want! good luck <3

p.s. do you have myspace or facebook at all?
