Isn't there a company called PetroEcuador that took over oil production where Texaco pulled out? How do we know PetroEcuador isn't the source of the pollution? Why is PetroEcuador granted immunity from pollution claims, even though they are less experienced at oil production and that complaints escalated far AFTER Texaco left?

@lebiew Yes, we've been there before! Whole sale truckers had to add surcharges because of the high cost of fuel to deliver food. My son lost his truck the last time an artifical hike in oil due to manipulation of prices by the oil barons. We were starting to see an improvement in the economy, by now it will tank again. Outside forces control our economy, Why hike the price over $100 bucks a barrell? because they can! It takes 6 weeks for a ship to come from the middle-east and the oil flows ok
