  • They can shut up about their "showroom stock" cars. Pictures show different and racecrews arent there to sit and watch.

And finally... Why was there NO international press invited to validate ANY of these events. Flying over modded cars and full crews at great expense in the middle of their collective bankruptcies and not ONE piece of press or evidence. Get a grip.

Again... At what point is it time to think for yourself and not repeat billion dollar corporate media hype and propaganda.

  • Its futile to compare supercars. European brands build supercars / upper market cars USA dont. Thats the end of that.

Fact is. Ferrari, Lambo, Aston, Koenigsegg, none of the big names ever "benchmark" anything at the Ring. This is a complete myth fabricated to substantiate their wild claims.

So.. If none of the big names run. Who did the Vipers, Corvettes really "beat"

Also... What "records" do they actually claim to have beaten ? Fastest car? Not by a mile.

  • Im not on some singular quest to discredit US cars. I dont talk about cars as much as I talk about the ridiculous claims and myths that surround these things. But if you must know... The difference is Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche all started doing 200 mph in the 80s and dont go any faster today because they are refreshingly unconcerned with speed. What has changed since the 80s is buildquality, technology and styling. Which is exactly where US cars have a hell of alot of catching up to do.

  • @iPROFITDON

Thats the exact thing. There is no footage of the runs. No witnesses, No evidence. If these were legit runs, they would have milked it in media for all its worth. All there is, is a camera poking out the window showing me the time and the track. Im not concerned with the times. Niki Lauda did 7 minute laps 40 years ago. Porsche did 6 minutes 11 in 1983. Speed is nothing new. If supercars were about speeds, they could simply have put numberplates on a 1980s racecar. Job done.

  • @Janusha Though continue, you'll eventually convince someone that American cars are trash, can't perform, every video, article, and rumor you hear of one outperforming anything but a semi is false. I can't wait for SSC to take the Tautara to the Ring yet another car for you to cry over. Oh oh, have you seen GM's latest claim? Faster car for under 75K was it?

  • @Janusha Think about it? I don't know how many times I have to tell you these companies, Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche, could do away with all these times if they put the same effort into it. Stop arguing with yourself. In the middle of collective bankruptcies? Aren't you a couple years behind? And you're right! The only reason I'm still here responding to you is because all these cars are American lol. No, I just like arguing when I have nothing better to do.

  • @Janusha Relax :} no need to get tense. I'll agree with you, there is no evidence outside of claims and footage of the runs, it all has to be fake. I mean, a Corvette, GTR, Viper, Cadillac, LFA, running times like that? Absurd! Nissan has been denying modifications to their cars since they first hit the track back in 08 lol. Porsche called them out on it because they couldn't get close to their times with a GTR they purchased. Outside of the N-Ring they perform the same, as times show

  • Why dont YOU find me any shred of evidence to validate these Ring runs. If there is no evidence then why do you eat corporate propaganda from bankrupt companies without question? They got away with shameless profiteering and ever lower quality cars for decades by playing the patriotism card. Running their companies to the ground at YOUR expense while living moviestar lifestyles. Today its all shipped off to Asia and south america and here you are...Defending this. Simply because its american.

  • But THINK about it. We had the Ring for nearly a century. Porsche has had permanent test facilities at the Ring for over 50 years. And along comes the americans... And ALL claim woooorld fucking records after renting the track for a god damn weekend... Right smack in the middle of their collective bankruptcies, desperate to prove themselves worthy of Obamas 100 billion rescue package. At what point is it time to call bullshit? Atleast Nissan arent denying modifications to their cars on the Ring.

  • @iPROFITDON

Again... you seem to fail to understand this.... Its not MY job to provide evidence that they WERENT fake. Its up to whoever claims ridiculous shit to provide evidence of THEIR OWN god damn claims. Or anyone is free to claim anything. Which is exactly what they do. And they get away with that because nothing goes down better with the flagwaving masses than american heroes going to Europe to kick ass. Nobody will ever question any "fact" that puts american steel above its competition.
