In this video, I resaw the spalted maple panels on the bandsaw using Lagunas Resaw King. What a bandsaw blade! I then glue up the doors and begin creating the ebony plugs for the case. I finish up by showing my process for fitting inset doors.

  • hello mate just a quick note were did you get your brass mallet from?

  • @Newtonswoodcraft they are ridiculously expensive hammers from Glen Drake Toolworks. Beautiful creations but I bought them in a moment of weakness. :)

  • Mark, i just ordered one of these Resaw King blades....i finally got it then i seen yours here and it looks wider than mine..i ordered 1 1/4 so i measured it and its 1 1/8 from the front of the tooth to the back spine. (im not sure how they measure them) but yours does look wider. Any chance you can have a look? Kind Regards, Ron.

  • @missionron mine also measures about 1 1/8"

  • Subscribing now! Thanks for your very informative videos. I'm not Mr. Woodworker (yet), but I enjoyed the part where you talked about raising the bar for yourself. As a machinist dealing with thousandths of an inch or less, I can appreciate your skill. Keep up the fine work and videos! Thanks for showing your mistakes and how you went about fixing 'em, too.

    Take care,

    Mick

  • @TheMick26 Thanks Mick! Glad you are enjoying the videos. Don't be a stranger.

  • hey love what your doing but when you traced your frame on to the panel. why not just slid up the frame 3/8 and then trace that would save the use of your compus.

    keep up the good work

  • In no way were you nit picking! The pan out view was perfect. LIke you, thes things also bother me and end up driving me nuts. And after all the time you have spent on this one project (and the 11 episodes I have watched thus far), you deserve deserve the best results you can posiibly get.

  • Thanks Mark. Im heading out the the shop now to try this blade :) HAve a great day!

  • @ImposingSumo haha thanks buddy. Great minds think alike then? :)
