Geoffrey Hill was a former pastor of Calvary Chapel who left the movement. He contributed to the anthology 'The Book Your Church Doesn't Want You To Read'. Hill wrote extensively on film and was the author of Illuminating Shadows until his body was found shot in the Ango Borego desert. Police ruled the death a suicide.
