The reason Greg did that is because on this tour they watched Live After Death alot by Iron Maiden and they were looking for things from it to add to their stage show . Bruce Dickinson does that alot having the crowd sing . Also the backdrop is taken from Maiden as well because some songs like The Trooper has its own backdrop and is always shown when played .
