My 2006 Yamaha R6 dyno run while being tuned. Has a PCIII, K&N Intake, stock header, midpipe, akrapovic slip-on. Dyno tuning was done at Moon Performance in Lake Placid, NY.

  • I've long since sold this bike and I've heard it's been crashed :(

  • u only got 110 out if it i thought stock they had 120 so if u dyno it its probably like 105 so u only made 5 hp?

  • @guitarkillerzz stock it makes ~99whp on the dyno, so I made up 11hp.

  • pulling the clutch in at 16,000 rpm , Man that guy know what he's doing. LOL that poor kid who ownes the bike gonna need a clutch. DONT GET YOU DYNO RUNS DONE BY THAT JERK LOL

  • @buellracer825 Explain how pulling the clutch in puts any extra wear on it at high rpms? They're wet clutches too lol

  • What a beautiful sound! Are those zenon HID lights? Do they come stock?

  • Thanks! :) They're aftermarket HID's that I retrofitted in there.

  • @buellracer825 somebody doesnt know how a clutch works .......

  • 06 only came 99hp? my 07 came 109

  • @technoticmedia He didn't retrofit them, he stuffed them in there. A retrofit includes projectors

  • R6 are sorry street bikes had one never had fun with it till you get on the highway now I have an 09 kawi never looked back , sounds nice I'm also getting lights installed soon

  • some times i see the bike mistied-down... like with dudes on em on top of that you know the owner can do the roll on while the tech dose his thing ect... straping the bike with lots of down ward force on that wheel and letting some fat shop worker sit there just really messes with the data results.Think about it by cranking the shock down and putting rider weight might be aplying more weight capacity then even the recomnded max load do measure your down force and use common sence

  • 49 torque sounds a bit high but that's where alot of the powercommander and slipon could be.

It's always nice to get a stock baseline dyno before doing any mods so you can compare the 2 dynos and see where the gains and losses are.

    My stock 2010 R6 made 106.7 @ 13,700rpm and 45.75 tq @ 10,000 rpm.

top dyno speed was 177 mph while the bike's speedometer was reading 180 mph.

Your bike sounds awesome, makes me wanna get a akro slipon.

  • @technoticmedia Just like when I sold my old SV1000S and it got into the hands of a jackass. that amazing bike didn't last long from what I heard.
