Her voice is wonderful, and it sounds pretty with this tempo. But it doesn't seem to fit the text. such a sad song.

the mastery of Bach's composition should never cease to cause us to wonder at his genius . He is better than the two other B's : Beef Oven and Brahms ... but give me an Hungarian Dance (esp. No. 1) anyday !

I like the higher key better...or maybe it's just higher tuning...but it makes a difference.  And I think it's a tad quick. BUT. stunning Emma, as always.

Her voice is too lovely and refined with this polished rendering, but I am not able to see their tears...
I have a poor experience. That's why I have no idea whether this elegant rendition is "Matthaus Passion" or not...
